How is the whole exome sequencing data analysed for INDEX-db?
The whole exome sequencing analysis pipeline is described in Ahmed P et al., 2019. Briefly, the pipeline is shown below:

What is "AF in INDEX_ALL" and "AF in INDEX_Controls"?
INDEX-db frequencies are calculated at two levels:

"AF in INDEX_ALL": Allele frequency in all individuals catalogued in INDEX-db, including individuals with diagnosis of neuropsychiatric and other related disorders.
"AF in INDEX_Controls": Allele frequency in control individuals catalogued in INDEX-db.

Can the data from INDEX-db be used for clinical diagnosis?
No. The data generated is intended for research purposes.
